Lesson 1: Strengths and Weaknesses of LLMs

Why do we need agents?

There are two reasons to need AI Agents:

1. To ‘do’ things instead of simply talking. For example, an AI agent can access your email, modify your calendar, or use other applications.

2. To enhance an LLM and help it generate better responses.

In this video, we focus on the second one. More specifically, we talk about the strengths and weaknesses of LLMs. AI Agents will then focus on mitigating these weaknesses by using the strengths.

The weakness we focus on, which is pivotal to understand how LLMs work is: Why are LLMs so bad at telling jokes?
